OHSMS 18001 Occupational health and safety management system is the modern international safe production management mode generated and became popular at the end of 1980s. It has become a post-industrial management method along with other standardized management system such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. With the acceleration of integration process of world economy, occupational health and safety issues that related closely to production process have become common concerns of the international community. Relevant legislation is becoming more and more strict and various compulsory policies and measures are launched in many countries. Occupational health and safety has become a technical barrier in international trade. Only adopting identical occupational health and safety standards world wide can we fundamentally solve this problem, just the same as the world wide implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
